I'm the daughter of a Canadian Sailor who has served for 23 years. I am very proud of him and every other military man and woman whether it be canadian, american, british or other. Music is a great way to support our troops, and this is a great album :)

I bought the album yesterday... great work guys... it brought tears to my eyes.... it's very thought provoking.... My family has a history of being in the forces going back generations on my father's side. One of my brothers was also a Royal Marine Commando and did his 'turns' of serving several times in the Gulf, Northern Ireland etc and was lucky enought to come home to us. My heart and thoughts go out to everyone serving within the forces and their families. God bless.... Nadine xxx

I was listening to this track for the first time, thinking of my son who is out in Afghanistan, when the phone rang and it was him, to say hi and catch up with the gossip - i had not heard from him for four and a half weeks. This song sums up the hopes and fears of all those who know someone in this place that is not home. Both young and not so young showing the commitment and dedication to the freedom they so firmly believe in. I am a lecturer in a Kent college and my students are aware of where my son is and that he is only a couple of years older than them, its amazing to hear their thoughts and support for our serving soldiers and have pledged to buy the CD on its release, to help make this song a Christmas No1. I wish you all the safe return of your loved ones, the protection of those who remain and my thoughts for those who now sit beside a higher power. Love, respect and honour to all. Sammie XX

I would just like to commend each and every service man who do their part for our country. Every person in the UK will have someone they know and love in the services. For family we know what lies ahead in the battles to come, but are so PROUD of how inspirational you all are. I hadn't heard of this group until a recent inspirational article in Woman's Own regarding a young soldier who was injured in Afghan. It is truly astounding to see the courage put forward by such people. The song is amazing, very heartfelt and brought a tear to my eye. I will most certainly be buying this album. Good luck fellas - I do hope you make it to Christmas Number 1!!! My heart goes out to present soldiers ad those who have fallen for our country. You are all doing us so Proud!! All my love, Becky xxx

Just caught the Festival of Remembrance on catch up. Fantastic performance attested to by the smiles and tears of the audience. St Louis Blues March kept me going through a long Procedure Alpha into Jacksonville Florida in '85, Sailing has been "Our Song" for 25 years and Coming Home is going to be in the hearts of the nation for a long time. I think this song is going to make things easier for a lot of our guys as they make the transition back from being out there. You seriously need to think about getting this one over to the states, they would love it. Respect and good luck to all those deployed on active service everywhere. Iain (Serving in dark blue).

i played your cd all day and could not put it down as was brilliant - coming home is so haunting and your singing is better to listen than the stuff they call singing on x factor. as serving soldiers you are a credit and deserve all the accolades and take care when on active duty - all the best and cannot wait for a follow up cd and a tour - music that is- all the country is for our troops - good luck

My wife and bought the c.d. today and we think it is the most amazingly sung and produced record we have heard in a VERY long time, the songs taken in context of where you are coming from and what it is about is truly amazing , your voices harmonize so incredibly well and the chosen songs represent exactly the feelings and mental state of the solders who are fighting in such adverse condition. AS an ex serviceman I understand some of what they are going though. We also hope it will provide some spiritual comfort to those who have lost someone, and to the solders who are now facing a very difficult future physically and mentally. Tone

Watching this video and I see the true passion from each of you in this wonderful song. I have a niece who served in Iraq and am also an ex-soldier so can relate to all the words. There was certainly a lump in my throat. Well done to you all - and take care.

    25.Oct.2009 17:41

This song brings a real lump to the throat and shiver down the spine. Thankfully I have no family members serving but not a day goes by that i don't think about all those that are servering and those sadly no longer with us. I work for an ex military Hospital Radio Station and Coming Home is already being given priority air play to ensure that people hear it and go out and purchase. I salute you guys and all those in action. You really are heroes and we should all do what we can to help. Brian

This song makes me cry, I know it will be one of my favourites from now on. Everytime I think of it I think about my fiance, Nippo, or JS Hardy as the army know him. He has just joined the army, he's back in 2 weeks from Winchester. I miss him like crazy, and I'm dreading the day he gets posted to Afghan when he's 18. My heart goes out to all of the soldiers currently fighting, aswell as the ones already fallen. God bless you all and I wish you all the very best of luck. Sarah xxx

Congratulations what a lovely song coming home, hope this makes people think and realise what the brave soldiers are doing daily, we should all feel really proud of what the troops on land sea and air are doing every day, as a mum of a son currently in the forces and a husband who has served his time away I know how special that feeling is to have someone coming home to you. thank you to all those who risk their lives, keep safe xxxx

For Gavin, my lovely nephew, who has just joined the army. He started his training last week. As a family, we all know what lies ahead. I love him dearly and fear for his safety but admire what he believes in. I love this song. God bless every service man. For them I can't think of anything more worthwhile than actually "coming home" May god look after every service man. J x
