I've just been listening to your CD for the first time. Fabulous. Your version of Bring Him Home had me in tears - better even than the best Les Mis can offer. Just amazing. Have just explored your web site and found out you're at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester in March so have booked tickets. Better wear the waterproof mascara! Thank you.

Hi guys, As an ex-service daughter and wife, I'm the proud mum of 3 sons serving regular stints in Iraq & Afghanistan and mum-in-law to an RAF nurse who has been in the thick of the conflict. Your album brings tears to my eyes; it is the best CD I've ever bought. I am so pleased to see you're going on tour (including Skegness which is usually too far East for anybody noteworthy to visit!) Thinking about all the personnel and praying for their safe return home. Well done and keep up the fantastic music and support for our armed forces. Fiona

I bought this album for my father a thinking it woudl be his type of music. Mellow easylistening type of stuff. But Ithought I'd have a listen myself just to see...Suffice it to say it sbeen on a countinous loop all day and I now have to buy another for Dad. This is probably the best, most enjoyable album that I have bought for the past 4 or 5 years. What is even better is that it is some small way allows thoe of us at home to show some support for those who are serving and have served. I cant commend the album highly enough I really wish you were coming over to this side of the Irish Sea on tour.

From The Mother of All Gurkha's, on behalf of my children servicing with their fellow British soldier's, boy's well done very interested in your concert tour. We are trying to arrange a annual summer open air afternoon / evening picnic military charity concert at the NMA - Staffordshire starting next year, with a military band playing the music and guest celebrity singer's etc, with BFBS broadcasting the event to the British Armed Forces around the world, plus making a DVD's and/or CD's of the event too. To raise money and all the profit's from the event going not just to the NMA and RBL, but other military charities to, the likes of ABF, BGWS, RAFA, RNA, RMA, SSAFA, Combat Stress, St.Dunstans, BLESMA, Veteran's Aid too. My question is boy's will you agree to perform at our first summer open air afternoon / evening picnic military charity concert at the NMA - Staffordshire, YES OR NO BOY'S ?, if yes you have our email address.

Hi Guys - I was visiting my mum this weekend and as I walked through the door she was playing your album. It did then what it did when I saw you on The Festival of Remembarance - the hair's on the back of my neck stood upright, a beautiful song reminding us of the great work you guys are doing out there and we all wishing that you and your comrades all come home safe and sound. You should release "A Soldier's Christmas Letter" and knock the X-Factor of the Christmas number One slot, we have had enough of them being number one at Christmas - now - its your turn guys. God bless you all and wherever you are and whatever you do have a Great Christmas - Come Home safe. Ian

My favourite song of all time is "He Ain't Heavy - He's My Brother" by The Hollies with Allan Clarke as lead singer and I never thought anyone would cover it with the same emotion and feeling BUT you have succeeded admirably and I have bought the album which is very moving. Let's hope that it brings in much needed funds for a very worthy cause - which , as an active member of The Royal British Legion - I am proud to support. Well done lads - you should be proud of yourselves. Tony Howitt Derby

An album sung with feeling and passion, a fitting tribute to all our young, and not so young men and women fighting in far off lands on our behalf. I challenge anyone not to feel moved by the songs and congratulations to 'The Soldiers' for the money raised on our forces behalf. As a compliment to you chaps, sounds not unlike Spandau Ballet at times, well done. Dave

I first heard this on the alan titchmarsh show, and had tears running down my face, it is such a moving song, and just wish that it could be happening for all of you right now. We are so so proud of all that you have done and will being doing for our safe keeping, but alas it causes hardship for quite a few families through either their loss of a love one or through the injuries sustained by a loved one. Every one of our troops out fighting no where or when are deeply loved by somebody somewhere. I am proud of you all and would like to say THANKYOU for making my life what it is today. 06.Nov.2009 12:32

brilliant song guys brought back memories of my time "down south" in 82 most of us went out as young crows, & came back as men. The song is so poignant to me as I have my two lads now out in the sandpit both are medics (as I was in 82) you have done every one in forces uniform PROUD. One only has to listen to the pathos, & utter sincerity expressed in each & every line to feel the tears welling up inside. Even the hardest para could not fail but to be moved by the sentements expressed in such a powerful tribute. A tribute to all who have paid the ultimate sacrafice & continue to do so in the name of freedom.

You song has brought tears to my eyes and thoughts to my mind of the girls and boys who are NOT coming home and those who have come home but not in the good health that they left with. They are the selfless ones who given their lives and time for us all. They are the people to be honoured and admired. May your God go with you. Thank you for such thought prevoking music such a lovely lasting tribute to such wonderful souls of THE MEMBERS OF OUR ARMED FORCES. Love to you all Nicky.

Beautiful voices, brave men and a great cause! May all those who have lost their lives rest in peace and all those who survive live in peace. Alive or dead, past or present - never forgotten and always in my heart. x Dulce et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of tired, outstripped Five-Nines that dropped behind. Gas! Gas! Quick, boys!---An ecstasy of fumbling, Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time; But someone still was yelling out and stumbling, And flound'ring like a man in fire or lime... Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light, As under a green sea, I saw him drowning. In all my dreams, before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning. If in some smothering dreams you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devil's sick of sin; If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,--- My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.
